WAVENEY HARRIERS at HIGHAM – SUNDAY FEBRUARY 9th
GOING UPDATE:
Following a course inspection, the going at Higham has been confirmed as GOOD. There is plenty of grass throughout and fences 2 and 7 have been rebuilt since last season. (Tuesday 28th January).
The first of two meetings being held at Higham racecourse, on the Suffolk/Essex border takes place on SUNDAY FEBRUARY 9th.
The racing is always fast and furious around the popular Higham course and there will be all the usual attractions accompanying the racing. An avenue of tradestands offering a variety of country clothing, dog accessories etc, together with a good selection of catering outlets and a public bar.
The racing will commence with two pony races from 11am with the first of six scheduled steeplechase races starting at 12 midday.

GOING UPDATE: The course inspector has walked the track again today and confirmed that going at Higham remains GOOD throughout despite a drying week. There is an excellent covering of grass. Fences 2 and 7 have been rebuilt since last season.
