Watering has started at Kimble. The going remains Firm, but watering will continue all week with the aim of producing Good ground for racing on Saturday.
The course was slit today.
A week ahead of the meeting, the going is Firm. However, the course is level with a good covering of grass and the going stick is making an imprint. The course is going to be slit tomorrow and watering is due to start on Monday. With rain forecast, there should be no problem producing good, safe racing ground on Easter Saturday.
