GOING UPDATE: Watering began yesterday, ahead of entries closing tomorrow. Following a small amount of overnight rain, the course has been slit today to encourage penetration of the ongoing watering and natural rainfall that, encouragingly, we should be seeing next week. We hope to achieve Good to Firm going on the majority of the course and are doing everything to make the best possible racing ground. (Sunday 13th April)

TUESDAY morning ( April 15th )
8mm of rain overnight and a further 4mm by 9am and its still pouring with rain.
Course walked this morning showing natural rainfall is being taken up on the slit ground and the ground is easing . Watering will be continuing to aim for Good to Firm all round by Friday.
