Clerk of the Course Peter Mason confirmed that the going is currently Good, Good to Soft in places.
The Course Inspector will be visiting the track on Monday afternoon, following which there will be a further update.
The weather forecast is dry for the next seven days, although some rain is expected on the Friday and on race day.

Clerk of the Course Peter Mason walked the track earlier this afternoon with the Course Inspector and Senior Steward and confirmed that the going remains Good, Good to Firm in places.
The course has been spiked and rain is forecast this evening.

The track has been topped, rolled, harrowed and spiked and the fences are in place.
The going is now Good most of the way round the course, Good to Firm on the far bend turning into the home straight.
Rain is forecast for Friday.
