Great idea for Ptp courses to make money and for the horses to learn the trade, but how many will actually race in a Ptp? (will have to wait & see of course) is this the future for Ptps?
I initially thought (presumed) these schooling days where restricted/aimed to amateur trainers to help the grassroots of the sport but from the video I can see Skeltons, Bowens to name a couple before I switched off.
I didn’t get the impression from the video that they are aimed primarily, atm, at ptp horses though there were ptp ‘trainers’ there. Hopefully it will engage yh producers to use pointing as part of the progression process. More importantly, in the current financial climate, it will bring funds in to the ptp courses who have suitable tracks to hold them. Gutting that Barbury has been ploughed as it probably could have saved the course. C’est la vie.
