We often hear about fixture organisers being protectionist and mean spirited by objecting to potential competition.

Here we have an established fixture opening its arms to help a new meeting that was dealt a bum hand by last weekends weather.

We are completely blown away by the generosity of our sponsors and supporters who have left their money in our pot to carry over to the joint fixture. Things were looking pretty grim a few days ago and it seemed likely that we,would sustain substantial losses without running a single race. Now we can be hopeful,of being in a position to run our meeting next season.
