seems the bookies all paid out on Dave Pipe horse as the winner !! 1) the girl on the Doc Carver had thought she had come 2nd) the annoucer in the paddock decided he could not wait for the offical result so gave the result out himself that mr Pipes horse had won, then the bookies had to pay out to Doc Carvers punters when the dead heat was annouced (after at least 10mins + wait), it was the last race & everyone was frezzzing. but why did the bookies not wait until the offical weighed out? (how many punters returned half their winnings?)
Thank you . Another good day in the office for Josh.

Thankyou for the Excellent results and comments Jake Like old times on JFF I did put a few comments on the other forum re your results I hope you don't mind Michael
Best finish of the day. Great effort by 14yo doc carver on his reappearance, fighting back on the run in to share the spoils. Couldn’t hear the distance to the third but looked like half a length
Again the pipe horse looked to have held on from my angle but I’m assured the DH decision was correct for the open so I’m sure it was here too 😀
Apart from the match, good racing for a rearranged meeting although 5 races had odds on favs. Ten books but a small crowd
Times getting slower as ground gets stickier. Lots of support for royal defender (2s - 5/4) but josh rode an identical race to the last one, taking it up three out and sweeping clear. Looks one to follow. Third horse ran well
A slow run race with all still in contention round the final bend. Josh rode a waiting race out back before asserting three out for an easy third winner on the day
Fighter Allen (Rian Corcoran) almost made all and looked likely to win like a long odds on shot should but Aran McManus on call Simon, riding his first winner, never gave up and caught the favourite on the line. 6.42
For what it’s worth, and I was just past the line, it looked like fighter Allen had held on
Will Biddick’s debutante runner-up was unlucky. She took it up with a circuit to run and seemed to be holding the odds on fav but made a bad blunder at the last
