A superb meeting yet again and will no doubt be one of the best staged all season. The Intermediate looked as hot as you will find anywhere and that Mens Open will be tough to beat as well. Ground was only soft, but it really took its toll and I suspect those not fully fit paid the price with lots of pulled up horses throughout the afternoon. I would imagine those good horses in the Mens Open who didn't finish will do better during the season. I'd be amazed if we haven't seen hunter chase winners this afternoon. Looked a decent enough crowd and the weather was decent as well.

I Tweeted throughout the afternoon and here are a bit more meat on the just the bare results.
First race goes to Gina and Jack Andrews who gave Panjandrum a very good waiting ride to pounce on the front running Sweating Bullets after the last. King Roque stayed on for 3rd. Avichi In the park made a horrendous mistake at the 2nd and then slipped on landing at the 2nd last when still in contention before fading into 5th. Time was 5.12
The good form of the Josh Newman yard continues as important notice stays on strongly to beat Barton Snow and arctic oscar in what I suspect will be one of the hottest intermediates run all season. Fav crocodile lounge faded tamely and pulled up. Time was 5.06
Very good performance from I’m Spellbound to comfortably beat Rewritetherules into 2nd place and who wasn’t able to land the hat trick. Amrons sage was back in 3rd. Winning time was 6.35
Master Templar makes it 3 on the day for Gina Andrews just holding off the determined challenge of Bardenstown Lad who might have won if he’d jumped straighter. They were the length of the run clear of the only other finisher Shang Tang. Winning time was 6.15.
It was Gina's 400th British pointing winner and Langan Valley who I believe opened up fav never got involved and pulled with the jockey reporting he didn’t like the ground.
That was a real war of attrition with just 3 finishers. The win went to lady Dudley cup winner jeux deau with a very good performance. Premier Magic was hard at work for a long way but did manage to finish 2nd with one true king back in 3rd. Saint calvados showed up for a fair way until tiring whilst lift me up and especially captain Tommy showed little. Time was 6.29
The sponsors win race 6 with llandonabo lad beating odds on fav jet smart into 2nd. Ballayadam destiny stayed on to just get 3rd
It ended up being 4 on the day for Gina Andrews as a trainer as Mumbo Jumbo takes the last from ideal du tabert who had the race between them from a fair way out. The only other finisher was about a fence behind and was King Orry. Time was 6.35
