Initial impressions

Thank you for introducing a means to log out of the forum.

For anyone who has not discovered the feature, go to the green band at the top of every page and under the V arrow at the right of the banner is the option to log out.

Could you explain how to send a private message to another member of the forum, or is this not currently possible?

Also could you explain the "follow" feature. I have noticed 4 people are following me, what does that mean?

I only have an iPhone and iPad, and I am fairly rubbish with tech.

So it may take me a little while to get up to speed.

But it’s nice to have this to dip into 😀

Just a thought, on the All Posts page next to the time/date stamp that the thread was last posted to, could the name of the member making that last post be displayed?

If as we hope this forum takes off and quite a range of members start posting to the same thread in succession then it will be easier to spot if a new post has been made without opening the thread, if the name is displayed.

As with the unfamiliarity that comes with anything new, it has taken a little getting used to but having been on for a week or so now, i'm gradually getting settled into it. Clicking on "All Posts" towards the top of the page has improved the experience for me as it gives you the option view the threads in different orders such as recent activity. One thing I haven't yet located is a Log Out button.

Otherwise it is nice to see the steady stream of familiar names wandering in.

Just found this when googling for the podcast. Wow, a new forum! Seems to be working okay on my iPhone at the moment, so my first impressions are positive.
