WHAT IS A FORUM?
Think of it as a virtual pub. Treat it like your local, pop in for quick look occasionally or regularly. If you come in regularly you may pick up some juicy gossip or just some useful info. There will always be the occasional person in who you don’t get on with so just go to the other end of the bar and don’t engage with them.
WHY A POINTING POINTERS FORUM?
Pointing Pointers had moved to a new website host that offered the option to host a forum. With the loss of Jumping4Fun it seemed a obvious opportunity to offer that forum up to be a new ptp conversation space.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE WHOLE FORUM?
Join as a member and a whole lot of other categories are accessible
HOW DO I SEE THE MOST RECENT POSTS?
You can select Categories, All Posts or Your Posts. If you select “All Posts” they will be listed with the post which has the most recent activity on it at the top. Posts and comments have the time of the most recent activity beside them.
HOW DO I POST ON THE FORUM
Members can post and comment on posts. If you want to post click the “create new post” button and it will lead you through what you need to do; select a category, give your post a title, write your post. You can add photos and links to your post too. If you want to comment on a post click “comment”. If you want to reply to a comment click “reply”
